Who we are

David Hunter, Operations Manager, brings a wealth of experience to the MU team.

With over 36 years in the utility industry, David began as an apprentice gas engineer in 1989. He swiftly moved through the ranks to become a qualified distribution craftsman and has held a Safe Control of Operations (SCO) for IDNOs for most gas networks in the UK for over 25 years, while also being qualified in water main laying – with CABWI certification – as well as LV /HV  electrical cable installation and industrial/commercial metering.

At Arc-Tech MU, he leverages his vast knowledge to lead complex projects and mentor his team. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in completing numerous large-scale contracts, including new build housing and multioccupancy residential developments.

Gary is our highly experienced Technical Manager, who has been with MU for 2.5 years.

He brings a wealth of experience to the business, having been involved in the utilities sector across various roles for over a decade, with his day-to-day role mainly involving the design and costing of utility networks for new build housing and multi-occupancy residential developments.

Kirsty Mahon is one of MU’s longest-serving staff members. 

Kirsty first joined the team as a Purchase Ledger in 2021, before advancing through multiple promotions to her current role as Assistant Quantity Surveyor, with her day-to-day work involving close collaboration with design teams and project managers to ensure construction projects remain on time and on budget.

Alejandro Codiamat is a CAD Technician who joined us in October 2023.

He is well-known for his attention to detail and expertise in computer-aided design. With over three years of experience, he has become an integral part of the architectural planning process, namely in the delivery of residential, commercial and care projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards at every stage of the pre-construction process.

Aaron Dolan is a Trainee Designer who joined MU in October 2023.

He has quickly learned to navigate the complexities of the industry and has taken on new responsibilities, such as planning utility routes and preparing cost estimates. Aaron is committed to ensuring efficiency and accuracy in his work, which has been a valuable asset to the company’s project planning and execution.

Megan is the newest team member of Arc-Tech MU.

Megan began her career as an apprentice project manager in the telecoms sector before quickly advancing into project coordination and project management.

She joined MU in early 2026, embracing a new challenge in the Scottish construction industry. Her day-to-day role involves liaising between clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects run efficiently and remain on schedule.
