Arc-Tech MU Celebrates Multiple Award Shortlists Across Scotland and the UK Housing Sector

29th September 2026

Arc-Tech MU is delighted to celebrate the success of several projects that have been recognised through nominations at both the prestigious CIH Scotland Housing Awards and the Inside Housing Development Awards.

Across six developments, Arc-Tech MU has proudly supported the delivery of high-quality, sustainable homes and communities alongside valued clients, contractors and project partners. The nominations are a testament to the collaborative approach that underpins every project and the shared commitment to creating places where people can thrive.

The CIH Scotland Housing Awards, organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), recognise excellence, innovation and best practice across the housing sector, celebrating projects that make a lasting difference to residents and communities. This year, four developments delivered by CCG (Scotland) have been shortlisted across a range of categories.

The shortlisted developments include:

CIH Scotland Housing Awards 2026

Woodend Farm, Hallglen: Shortlisted in the Excellence in Development for Affordable Housing category, the 111-home development successfully combines contemporary affordable housing with the restoration of a historic farmhouse, creating a vibrant new neighbourhood.

Braehead, Bonhill: Nominated in the Excellence in Regeneration and Sustainability category, the development has helped transform vacant land into a modern, energy-efficient residential community.

Shawbridge Arcade, Glasgow: Also shortlisted in the Excellence in Regeneration and Sustainability category, Shawbridge Arcade has transformed a prominent brownfield site into 75 affordable homes, supporting the ongoing regeneration of Pollokshaws.

Mount Pleasant, Alexandria: Recognised in the Excellence in Accessibility and Inclusion category, the development has been designed to promote independent living through accessible, adaptable homes that meet a wide range of residents’ needs.

In addition, two projects that Arc-Tech MU contributed to have been shortlisted at the Inside Housing Development Awards, one of the UK’s leading housing industry awards programmes, which celebrates excellence in residential development, regeneration and placemaking.

Inside Housing Development Awards 2026

Shawbridge Arcade, Glasgow: Delivered in partnership with Wheatley Group, CCG (Scotland) and Coltart Earley Architecture, Shawbridge Arcade continues to receive industry recognition for its contribution to affordable housing and urban regeneration.

Bellsmyre Regeneration, Dumbarton: Delivered alongside Caledonia Housing Association and ECD Architects, the £21 million regeneration project is creating 204 new affordable homes and helping transform the wider Bellsmyre community through high-quality placemaking and investment.

At Arc-Tech MU, we are proud to have played a role in these developments and to see the projects recognised for their contribution to housing, regeneration, sustainability and community impact. These nominations reflect the dedication, expertise and collaborative efforts of everyone involved.

Congratulations to all project teams, clients and partners shortlisted across both awards programmes. We look forward to the winners being announced later this year.
