The £27m project comprises 111 homes for social rent that are being delivered by main contractor, CCG (Scotland), on behalf of Falkirk Council including 99 new build homes as well as 12 flats contained within the former Farmhouse and Steading.
Arc-Tech MU is responsible for the design and installation of multi-utilities including gas, water, and electrical services and has since reached a key milestone with the energisation of the entire development.
Ben Bowring, General Manager of Arc-Tech MU, said:
“We are delighted to have reached this key milestone in the delivery of Woodend Farm. The project is one of two that are being supported by MU on behalf of Falkirk Council and CCG (Scotland).
“The works undertaken on-site to date here and across the breadth of the country are a testament to our team’s dedication, expertise, and commitment to delivering exceptional services that meet the high standards set by our clients and the local communities we serve.
“We are grateful for our client’s ongoing support and look forward to progressing works over the coming weeks and months.”
Woodend Farm is set for completion in 2025.
