A newly created category for the prestigious awards, Witch Road, a 43-home development specially designed to meet the needs of elderly and ambulant disabled people, was the deserving winner on the night with the event taking place on the 22nd of June.
MU supported Main Contractor CCG (Scotland) on behalf of East Ayrshire Council in the delivery of the development by providing a turnkey, Gas, Water & Electrical services package.
The thoughtfully-designed development is one of four projects that have been supported by MU on behalf of East Ayrshire Council since the company’s inception in 2020 and was also one of three projects that were nominated for an award this year…
The 49-home Cromdale Square and the 31-home North Gate, each located in the southside of Glasgow, were vying for a win alongside the 133-home Burns Road in Cumbernauld. Undertaken on behalf of Linthouse Housing Association, New Gorbals Housing Association and Sanctuary Scotland respectively, these outstanding projects didn’t win but their legacy will solidify them as leading examples of urban regeneration for many years to come.
