Pine Place, a residential development in Glasgow, has been shortlisted in the Housing Project (up to £10 million) category at the Architects’ Journal (AJ) Architecture Awards 2026.
The annual awards celebrate the very best in architectural design and delivery across the UK, with 123 projects shortlisted across 21 categories.
Delivered on behalf of New Gorbals Housing Association, Pine Place provides 28 affordable homes in a mix of flats and terraced houses. Designed by Reiach and Hall and constructed by CCG (Scotland), the development showcases the impact of collaboration between clients, designers and delivery partners in creating high-quality homes that respond to the needs of local communities.
As part of the wider CCG Group, Arc-Tech MU supports the delivery of high-quality developments through its specialist mechanical and electrical expertise. Working alongside CCG, clients and design partners, Arc-Tech MU provides integrated solutions that help support the successful delivery of modern, efficient and sustainable buildings.
The AJ Architecture Awards recognition highlights the contribution of everyone involved in bringing Pine Place to life and reflects the importance of partnership working across the built environment.
The AJ Awards expert judges, who are travelling the country to visit every shortlisted scheme, include Open House founder Victoria Thornton, winner of this year’s AJ100 Contribution to the Profession prize. Joining her are celebrated Czech-born architect Eva Jiřičná; RCKa founding director Russell Curtis; Dow Jones director Biba Dow; V&A head of capital programme Ingrid Petit; Jas Bhalla Works principal Jas Bhalla; and strategist Daisy Froud.
The winners of the AJ Architecture Awards 2026 will be announced at a ceremony in London on 26 November.
