Delivered by CCG (Scotland) on behalf of Thriving Investments’ New Avenue Living Scotland Fund, the development marks another important milestone in the continued regeneration of Glasgow’s East End, building on the lasting legacy of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The Athletes’ Village remains one of Scotland’s most successful housing-led regeneration projects. Originally created to accommodate more than 6,000 athletes and officials during the Games, the area has since evolved into a thriving mixed-tenure community, delivering homes for social rent and private sale while supporting continued investment across Dalmarnock.
Phase 2 will introduce 58 high-quality two and three-bedroom homes for mid-market rent, helping to provide more affordable housing options for households and key workers who may not qualify for social housing but face challenges accessing suitable homes within the private rental market.
Arc-Tech MU is delighted to play a role in delivering a project that combines quality residential development with meaningful community benefit. The new homes will benefit from excellent connectivity, with Dalmarnock Railway Station, major road networks and Glasgow city centre all within easy reach, supporting access to employment, education and local amenities.
The project sees CCG (Scotland) return to the site more than a decade after being part of the City Legacy consortium, which delivered the original Athletes’ Village in partnership with Glasgow City Council. This latest phase represents another significant chapter in Dalmarnock’s continued growth and regeneration.
As part of the Places for People Group, Thriving Investments continues to expand its New Avenue Living Scotland platform, which has already delivered nearly 1,200 affordable homes across Scotland.
The development forms part of a wider programme of investment across Glasgow’s East End, supporting local employment, economic growth and the creation of sustainable communities.
