Four Arc-Tech MU Projects Reach Scottish Design Awards Finals

23rd May 2025

Four Arc-Tech MU projects have been announced as finalists for this year’s Scottish Design Awards.

The Scottish Design Awards, established in 1998, are one of the country’s most prestigious and long-standing award programmes.

Over the past 27 years, the awards have evolved, shining a spotlight on countless brilliant projects, exceptional designs, and extraordinary talents from the design, creative, and architectural sectors.

The awards are due to take place on the 25th of June, and have recognised four MU projects across various categories, the first being Regeneration and Masterplanning.

Chestnut Street, a 306-home development located in Granton Harbour, was constructed by CCG on behalf of Harbour Homes, and it will be competing against Water Row, a 92-home development for Govan Housing Group.

The nominated architectural consultants include Hackland + Dore and Collective Architecture, respectively.

Water Row, the first phase of a large-scale mixed-use masterplan in Govan, south Glasgow, has also been nominated in the Affordable Housing category alongside Dundashill Platform 3 – Scotland’s largest Passivhaus development, which was completed by CCG on behalf of West of Scotland Housing Association, and designed by Collective Architecture.

Platform 3 is one of two phases of residential development that have been led by CCG at the Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan, the second being ‘Maltings Wynd’ – a project comprising 78 homes for sale for igloo Regeneration.

The project has been designed by both Stallan Brand and Ann Nisbet Studio, which has been recognised in the Residential (Multi-Unit) category.

Each development has adopted low-carbon heating technologies, thus utilising a turnkey dual-fuel utilities package for Water and Electrical Services.
