Water Row, a 92‑home project in Govan delivered by CCG for Govan Housing Group, is a landmark project for the southside of Glasgow and was one which was support by an MU dual-fuel, low-carbon utilities package.
It was the winner of Homes for Scotland Affordable Housing Development of the Year (Medium) accolade in May, and had three further awards swiftly followed, including the Scottish Home Awards Housing Regeneration Project of the Year and the RTPI Scotland Best Project, with the latter recognising the wider multi-phase, mixed-use Water Row Masterplan from Collective Architecture & Glasgow City Council.
The successful month was rounded off with the Scottish Design Awards and the SILVER prize for Affordable Housing.
Recognised as one of the country’s most prestigious design award bodies. Hosted in Glasgow on the 25th of June, the Scottish Design Awards also granted Maltings Wynd the Residential (Multi-Unit) and Client of the Year (Architecture) awards, adding to the Development of the Year (Large Private Sale) Scottish Home Awards win earlier in the month.
Located in Dundashill, the innovative, low-carbon development comprises 78 homes and was delivered for igloo Regeneration.
The final development to be recognised is Langlands Road. Delivered on behalf of Trust Housing Association, the 46-home project resides within 0.3 miles of Water Row, and was the worthy winner of the Scottish Home Awards Social Housing Development of the Year (<100 units).
