The Royal Incorporation of British Architects (RIBA) is a global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture. Their annual ‘National’ awards are recognised across Europe and this year, the body announced 26 winners with North Gate one of only five residential developments to scoop a top prize.
Designed by Page/Park, North Gate comprises 31 homes for social rent and forms part of the 30-year regeneration of Crown Street in the south Glasgow district known as the Gorbals.
MU supported the construction programme with a full gas, water and electrical services package, in collaboration with Main Contractor, CCG (Scotland), on behalf of the client, New Gorbals Housing Association.
