The awards, which are amongst the most prestigious in Scotland, will take place this autumn and will “…celebrate the diversity of the best of new housing in Scotland, recognising the contribution it makes to social and cultural conversations.”
Shortlisted for the ‘Multiple Public Dwelling Award’ is North Gate, a recent winner from this year’s Scottish Design Awards and one of Arc-Tech MU’s first ever contracts.
The 31-home project was constructed by CCG on behalf of New Gorbals Housing Association, was designed by Page/Park Architects and is the culmination of over 30 years of regeneration on Crown Street in the southside of Glasgow.
Arc-Tech MU provided a full multi-utility package for the development, including designing, supplying, and installing gas, water, and electric mains solutions to support the main construction program. For more information click HERE.
The site’s challenging and compact location, adjacent to residential schemes and Laurieston Road, required Arc-Tech MU’s project management expertise to ensure an efficient installation with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
